So, before I answer the questions, I have some complaining to do. But don't worry, it's not that bad.
I went to look at my 365 and found out that MORE THAN HALF HAVE BEEN DELETED! I have no idea what happened or why they're gone, but I'm really, really, really, really sad about it. Because being the lame person I am, I didn't save all of them, and I don't remember what picture is for what day. So they're gone.
I just might cry.
But on to happier things . . . It's Friday!
1. The last movie I saw was Thor. I really liked it actually. I didn't want to see it, but I'm glad I did. Maybe I just liked the guy in it. That could be it. But when he goes into the pet store and asks for a horse. Ha! That's pretty funny.
2. I want to eat Deluxe Chili Cheese Fries from Del Taco with the Del Scorcho sauce. These are my weakness. Now I really want it . . . Must . . . Resist . . . (so I just reread the question and realized I answered it wrong, but I'm leaving it because now this is what I want to do)
3. Surprises are good if you don't know about them. But if someone tells me they have a surprise for me, I bug the crap out of them trying to get them to tell me. I hate the not knowing! But I do love surprises.
4. The best accessory are earrings. I don't really wear any other jewelery besides earings.
5. My favorite warm drink is hot chocolate. But I can only drink a sip or two and then I'm done.
6. My favorite cold drink is water with a lemon. Refreshing.
7. Currently loving my new shirt that I got. It's a tube top so I can wear it as a shirt AND a skirt. A 2 in 1. And it was $6. Ya yeah!

Fill in the Blank Friday
New Current Read
My new read:
Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
Pretty excited for this one. I've heard lot's of good things. I just started it tonight, and I'm already intrigued and not wanting to put it down (except for the fact that I already did put it down because I'm blogging about it).
If anyone has any suggestions on good books to read, I'm all ears :)

I Ate A Bug Today.
So I went for a run up the canyon today. I just have to say how much I LOVE living by the canyon and that I can go run in the canyon. It's the perfect temperature right now, and it's so beautiful.
I took this picutre and did no editing to it. Isn't Utah beautiful? I always take it for granted and want to go other places to see beautiful things, but Utah really is a beautiful state.
I ran on the trail that leads to Bridalveil falls and there are trees all along the path. The only bad thing about having trees right along the path is that there are little spider webs hanging from them, and on the end of some of them there were these little caterpillar/worm things hanging.
Yeah, I ate one. It was disgusting. And the thing is you can't really see them unless you really look or if it hits you in the face, so people just saw me freakin out for no apparent reason.
But I had a reason. Gross! I showered and I still feel like there are little bugs crawling all over me.

10 Things You Probably Didn't Know About Me
1. I am the oldest of 8 kids. This means I'm good at bossing people around. Ha, just kidding. But a little bit I am . . .
2. I hate peas. With a passion. I will not eat them. Even if they are in fried rice, I pick them out. But, I like sugar snap peas in the pod.
3. I don't like to drive. I will, but if someone else wants to I'll gladly let them.
4. Whenever I go shopping for clothes I bite my nails. I think it's because I feel a little bad about buying yet another shirt that I really don't need.
5. I've used the same body wash for the past 2 years, and I don't think I'll ever change. Unless they cancel it, but that would be a very sad day. It's the Softsoap Pomegranate & Mango. I could eat myself.
6. I once sprained one ankle and broke the other one at the same time. That's a talented klutz. It wasn't even a cool story. I was just a klutz.
7. My favorite Disney princess/movie used to be Ariel from The Little Mermaid but now it's Belle from Beauty and the Beast.
8. My favorite smell is clean clothes. I always put a little extra soap in the wash to get the smell stronger.
9. I prefer cold weather over warm weather. I could rather be cold then hot. You can only take so much off . . .
10. I do not own any pink clothing. I have a couple shirts that have a little pink in them, but nothing that is pink.

Yesterday. In pictures.
Yesterday my little sister Alli texted me to do something when she got off work. She wanted to see a movie, but I was running later on that day and didn't have time for a movie.
So I took her to IN-N-OUT instead because she was hungry. And we had gift cards from out grandparents. Free IN-N-OUT!
And then we were trying to find a grassy spot for her to eat (not eat the grassy spot, a grassy spot for her to eat on) and so we drove to the Provo temple . . .
Where we took way too many pictures of ourselves . . .
and other things .
Then later that night, I went on an amazing run up the canyon to Bridelveil Falls. Amberly and I had ran the trail once before, so I decided to do it again because I really liked it.
It was raining a little bit, and there was a double rainbow. So beautiful.
Then I went to Yogurtland with Ashley. But I didn't take any pictures, so you'll just have to imagine the picture of my fro-yo.

Fireworks, Roses, and Missing Teeth.
Don't remind me that tomorrow is Monday. Ughhh. Where did the weekend go?
It was a great weekend though. Saturday morning my sister ran her marathon, and then later that night Ashley and I hit up Texas Roadhouse and then Summerfest where we watched a pretty amazing firework show. I love fireworks. They make me feel like a little kid again.
I went home Sunday and had dinner with my family and watched I Am Number Four (which is different from the book. Isn't it always?). I saw that our rose bush was starting to bloom. Most of the time I hate that thing because my mom doesn't believe in prunning or something, so it hangs over our porch and attacks you when you walk up. But today, it was pretty.
Oh, and Aubrey lost her first tooth and got a $1 from the tooth fairy. I remember when I was younger, my little sister Allison had lost a tooth. She had put it under her pillow for the tooth fairy to take, and the next morning I woke up before her and decided to check under her pillow to see if the tooth fairy had come. Under her pillow was a $50 dollar bill! I felt a little jipped because all I ever got was $1, and her teeth weren't any better than mine.
Turns out what had happened is my mom had left money for a bill on the microwave the night before. My other little sister, Briar, had decided she wanted to be the tooth fairy and had taken the money off of the microwave and put it under Allison's pillow. Wouldn't it be nice if the tooth fairy really left $50 bills?

Now I Want to Run a Marathon
My sister Alli ran her 2nd marathon today. Crazy girl! But so inspiring, right? It makes me really want to run a marathon. Just to say I did it. I'm training (sorta) for the Halloween Half Marathon, so maybe after I check that off my bucket list I'll move up. Maybe . . .
The funnest part of the marathon was cheering for the runners. We met up the canyon so we could cheer her on half way, and my family had made posters. Briar and Ashley were cheering for every single runner, and me and Aubrey joined in. I loved seeing the runners smile for the brief moment during their run. It was probably just because we were making fools out of ourselves, but that's alright. We even made up cheers. And we would point at the people and yell, "YOU'RE AWESOME!" "AND YOU'RE AWESOME!" "AND YOU'RE AWESOME!" Or Ashley would say "YOU" and I would say "CAN" and then Briar would say "DO IT!" and then we would cheer like crazy.
Yes, we are those people.
On the drive down to the finish line (which took an hour to get about 10 miles) we blasted Eye of the Tiger, We Will Rock You, and We Are The Champions from my car and cheered the runners on some more.
Here are my sisters yelling out of my car windows at the runners.
Holding the signs we made.
Here she comes! About half way done!
There she goes!

Win a trip to Paris? I think so!
I stumbled across a blog that was giving away a trip to Paris. Jordan from Oh Happy Day has some pretty sweet hook ups! If you want to enter, click here!
New Shades and New Read
Got me some new shades today. I sat on my last pair of glasses and they sat lopsided on my face. I'm always breaking my glasses, so I got a couple of cheap pairs at Forever 21. I love that place. $1.50 for a pair of glasses. I got a turquoise blue and gray.
I finished The Catcher in the Rye today.
My mom has been trying to get me to read this book ever since she started the series, so my new current read is "The Brothers" by Chris Stewart.
Oh, and I noticed I got a couple more followers :) Thanks!

Fill in the Blank
1. This weekend I'm watching my sister finish her 2nd marathon and then going to Summer fest with Ashley for some fireworks.
2. My last vacation was forever ago it feels! It was when we drove to Virginia last May. Such a long drive! But it was beautiful.
3. My next vacation will be a surprise to me. I don't know when/what/where.
4. My favorite way to relax is to pop in a movie and eat some delicious food cooked by someone other than myself. And before I watcth the movie, take a nice, hot, long bath. With bubbles of course.
5. When vacationing one should always forget about everything waiting for you to do when you get home.
6. When vacationing one should never I like what Lauren said. Count calories. Calories don't count on vacation, right?
7. The best part about a vacation is the places you get to see, and taking a break from life.
Random Facts of the Day
- Today I bought salsa at Wal*Mart (it was the good kind of salsa too, the fresh made one) and I got the hot one and now I can't eat it because it's too spicy. And I'm no wimp to heat. It's so good I might just endure the heat.
- Tomorrow is pay day. Booyah!
- I have finished 4 books so far this summer, and I'm almost done with a 5th.
- Tomorrow is my favorite day of the week. I love Fridays. Even though I work both jobs, it's still my favorite day. Friday has a feel to it.
- I made a new goal today to have read the Book of Mormon all the way through by my birthday (October 25th). 3 pages a day. I can do it!
- I am currently obsessed with "Dog Days are Over" by Florence And The Machine. It has been on repeat on my iPod. (Music video is crazy weird but I love the song)
- I am currently craving Yogurtland fro-yo really, really bad. I may be addicted.
- I'm at work sitting at the 2nd floor desk and I'm not wearing any shoes.
- Sometimes I dance crazy in my room with my iPod in or music blasting. I did that today.
- I've got an itch to spend some money on things I don't really need.
- I love this line in the U2 song "Stuck in a Moment". Isn't it so true?
Happy Thursday :)

The Shortest Date of My Life
So, I normally don't write about my dating life because usually it's either non existent or messy. I use this as my journal, and this is pretty random/funny/wierd, and when something qualifies as all three of those things at once, it clearly needs to be recorded.
In order to tell this story, you might want a little background information. There isn't much but it adds to the story a little.
So on Monday, this guy at work came over and sat by me. Now that I think about it, he had gradually been getting closer to where I sat over the past few days, but I had never really noticed him before. He would do lots of weird random things. Like one time he came up to me with a deck of cards and did a magic trick. Another time he started massaging my shoulders. Weird. Random. Could be cool, but mostly weird when you don't know the person.
So anyways, Monday, about half way through the shift he came and asked if he could sit by me. I said yes and we were talking and he seemed like a pretty cool guy. Looked a little young, but so do I, so I was like ok whatever. At the end of my shift he asked what I was doing Wednesday and I said I didn't know yet (which sounds better than nothing, so it sounded like I was more busy) and he asked if I wanted to go on a date. I said sure. He had written down his number for me that previous Friday because he had asked my to go play rugby with them, so I told him I'd text him.
We texted a little. Kinda a weird conversation, and then he left early on Tuesday, so I really didn't talk to him til Wednesday again. We were sitting one person apart and he passed me a note and asked if we were still on for that night. I said 'yes', well 'yep' and we planned a time and all that fun stuff. After the girl that was sitting next to me left, he moved over by me and we were talking. During this conversation he told me that there was one condition with our date that night. I said 'Okay, what is it.' He said, "You can't fall in love with me." I almost laughed out loud right there. I told him I'd try to resist. He told me he was pretty lovable so it might be hard, but I said I'd try not to.
So 7 o'clock rolls around. He texted me after 7 and said he had just woken up from a nap and was on his way. He texted me when he got here and said "I'm here." (Lame he didn't even come to the door. Call me old fashioned, but isn't that dating 101?) So I went down to where he was. He still to this point hadn't told me what we were doing.
We drive to his apartment, and we get out and he starts walking so I follow. We walk to a different apartment complex across the street where he tells me we're going to play ping pong, but when we got there it was closed. So he asks if I wanted to go on a walk. Sure, why not. So we walk around the block and we're talking. And it's not weird or anything, it's just the get to know you questions and all that fun first date stuff. One big problem though. I find out he's only 19. I'm 23. That's almost illegal.
So we're walking and he says, "Ok question of the night. Who are you into?" Who asks that on a date? Really? So I say no one, because it's the truth (well sort of but it's definitely not him, and I didn't want to open that can of worms), and I ask who he's into and he says "My future wife." Then later when we were walking, he brings it up again and says something (I don't remember what exactly) but then says, "You know who I'm into? You." and grabs my hand. Only for a second though, thank goodness, and then he says "Haha, just kidding," and we keep walking.
We make it back to his apartment and he gets a phone call. Aparently it's his roommate who is stranded somewhere and needs a ride. He asks me if it's okay if we ended early so he can go get him. I agree, and so we get in the car to take me home. On the ride home (which was about 5 minutes) he says "So I just thought of a question that could make it really awkward, but I'm not gonna ask." I said, "Well now I wanna know," and he then asked, "What would you say if I asked you if you wanted to be together?" WHHHAAAAATT!??!!
I said "I would say no." Hello, buddy at least buy me dinner first.
He then asks me if I want him to walk me to my door, and I said it was up to him. He said that he would then know where I live so he could stalk me (I'm pretty sure he was joking. I might need to move though.) He gave me a high 5 at the door and that was that.
He got me at 7:30 and I was back by 8:15. I'm pretty sure that's the shortest date in date history.

Current Read
I finished "The Lightning Thief" on Saturday at work. I love that I can read at work. Best job ever! And I'm still working while I read. Yes, I am the queen of multi-tasking. It was a pretty entertaining read, especially for younger kids. If you love Greek/Roman mythology, then you'd like it.
I started a new one today.

The Time I Took Some Pictures.
I always do a ton of pictures, but today is especially picture heavy, so bewarned . . .
My sister is starting high school next year (weird), and one of her friends is going to a different high school than the rest of them, so they wanted to get pictures taken of them. So, being the nice, kind, generous, enter more adjectives here sister that I am, I took them. It was actually a lot of fun. There is a really cool location by my house and the Railroad museum. There were a lot of photographers there that day. I felt slightly lame with my sister's point and shoot taking the pictures, but it's actually a pretty good little camera.
My sister Briar tagged along and I shot some of her too. I can't decide whether I like the first one in color or black and white better.
