Seven Questions

This was taken in Ashley's mom's bathroom back in 2007.  Clearly, we thought we were pretty cool.

1. What do you do when you're sick? (Do you act like a baby? Tough it out? Have any weird cravings? Cry?)
It depends on what kind of sick I am.  If I have a cold I can usually tough it out on my own.  I try to get lots of sleep and drink lots of orange juice and Emergen-C.  I don't like to take medicine unless I absolutely need it.  If I'm the throw up kinda sick, I usually want my mom.  I revert back to a little kid and need my mom to take care of me, ha.

2. What do you do to find motivation when you feel you've lost it?
That's a great question.  I don't think there's one set answer, but I just try to find something new to do, or do something I love that I haven't done in awhile.  A run up the canyon is usually pretty good motivation.  It clears my head.

3. Do you wish time away or do you savor every moment?
I do both, but I think I'm more guilty of wishing it away.  I need to be better of making the best of every moment.  Sometimes I'm so worried about what's gonna happen tomorrow that I forget I still need to live today.

4. If you could be any mythological creature, what would you be, and why?
Umm, hello, a Wizard! Or a witch I guess because I'm a girl.  And I would totally go to Hogwarts.

5. What is your current biggest weakness and are you working on fixing it?
French fries.  I'm always working on fixing that one :)

6. How do you greet someone when meeting them for the first time?
I usually say, "What's your name? Hi, I'm Sam" and it includes a smile and sometimes a handshake.

7. How do you grocery shop? (Do you write up a list? Go in with no idea what you're looking for? Have meal plans? Bring your own shopping bags?)
I usually have a list of things I need but then I go in the store and see what looks good.  It's the worst when I'm hungry because I come out with all sorts of unhealthy stuff.

My little sister may kill me for posting this on my blog.  And also on Facebook.  And maybe I posted it on Youtube as well.  But it's too funny not to share, I just couldn't help myself!

Happy Fathers Day

Happy Father's Day to the best dad in the world.  Here is a man who works so hard for his family, makes the best pancakes, is always willing to help, and has a funny sense of humor.

Love you Dad.

The Happiest Place on Earth

My life is now complete.

I went to Disneyland!! Ahhhhhh!!!

It really is the happiest place on earth.  This was my first time going so I was like a 5 year old little girl, totally in awe of the magic of the place.

My friend Brady invited me to go, and it was the best, last minute trip ever.  On the way up we stopped in Vegas at Sam's Town, because hello, it's my town.  We listened to "Sam's Town"  by The Killers as we pulled in so it was pretty much perfect.

We had a two day pass where we could spend a day at each park.  We started at California Adventure which was so fun.  My favorite rides were Soarin' and the Tower of Terror.  The World of Color show was so amazing too!

The next day we hit up Disneyland.  We got there at 8 in the morning when the park was opening which was perfect because the lines were so short! We pretty much walked onto StarTours and Indiana Jones and then we got fast passes (which are the best thing ever invented) so we could go again.  We watched the parade and the firework show, and I got to meet Aladdin and Jasmine.  I love how in character all of the people are there!  Aladdin asked me why I didn't travel to California on a magic carpet because it would have been faster.  Duh.  Why didn't I think of that?

(I look like a chipmunk because I had a churro in my mouth.  Which was a freakin amazing churro, by the way.)

Hahahaha! Brady's face in this picture!! Kills me every time I look at it!  I'm like hiding behind my gun and he's like, "Bring it Zurg!"

The next day was a very chill, beach bum, sleep in kinda day and it was great.  We went to Newport beach and chilled there for awhile.

Now I want to go back!

My Sis is Gettin Hitched!

Can I just tell you how weird it is that my little siblings are grown up and getting married?  When did that happen?  I took some engagements for my little sister Melissa, and her fiance Cameron.  During the shoot, I had to keep telling them to stop kissing so I could get a normal picture of them, ha.  They are getting married sometime this summer and I am so excited for her! :)
