My friend Ashley came and visited me last night and we wound up going to In-n-Out. Every time I eat there I feel like I'm in California. I'm reminded I'm in Utah though, when I walk outside and the car is covered in snow. Got to love Utah weather.

Move along move along
So I moved into my new apartment today. I remember how much I hate packing and carrying boxes. And I somehow always manage to get the apartments that are on the third floor so I have to carry the huge boxes up three flights of stairs. I'm counting that as my workout today. I'm pretty sure I'll be sore tomorrow. Ok, probably not that sore because my dad carried most of the heavy ones.
I'm still in the process of unpacking. And I'm debating whether I should really decorate or not because I'm going to be moving again in August, so really, what's the point?
Oh, and can I get a hallelujah because I am done with finals!! Ya yeah! I'm still waiting to see how I did in all of my classes. I'm so excited to have the summer off. I love my summers. No school, no stress. Why do you think I want to be a teacher? The summers of course! I've got my summer to do list down, and I'm excited to check some things off. Lots of hiking, some cool projects, and lots of reading. I can finally finish "Lord of the Flies." That book has taken me fooooooorrreeevveeerrr.
Well, I'm pooped. Moving will do that to you. I'm going to watch the Office online (it's Michael's last episode. *tear*) and take it easy.
Hope everyone has a great weekend :)

Fill in the Blank FRIDAY
1. I am looking forward to this summer. I'm really excited to see what it holds. I just moved into my new apartment today. I'm a little aprehensive because I'm sharing a room, but it'll be good.
2. Something kind of embarassing that I still love anyway is listening to disney music. And singing along, of course. And having disney music on my iPod. What can I say, Disney has some good music! Who cares if I'm 23? Not I.
3. My favorite car is a Subaru Outback or a Landrover. Or Landcruiser. I'm not picky. Ah, if only I were rich and could buy a land something or other. I don't even care which one.
4. If I could pick one type of weather to live with for the rest of my life it would be fall weather. I love it when it is a little chilly outside, and you have to wear a coat, but if you layer up you're ok. And the leaves are BEAutiful. The air is crisp. It's not wet because winter hasn't come yet. Ah, it's perfect.
5. My favorite thing to do after a bad/stressful day is to do absolutely nothing. Just lay on my bed, or watch the Office. Or take a bath. Just as long as it involves me not having to do anything productive.
6. This weekend I will finish moving into my new apartment. I always realize how much crap I have when I have to box it all up.
7. If I were a color, I'd be brown because, it is such a calm, relaxing color. Don't you think? It can go with lot's of other colors. It's simple, yet deep.

Green Goodness
You have to try this recipe! It's so good. I'm not sure what the real name is (it's probably Pistachio Pie, or something like that) but I call it Green Goodness. Beacuse it's green, and it's good.
INGREDIENTS:
STEP ONE: Mix the flour, butter, and nuts together. Once mixed together, press into the bottom of a 9x13" pan. (I love the crust, so I usually make it thicker or use a smaller pan). Bake for 10 minutes at 350.
INGREDIENTS:
1. 1 container of coolwhip and 1 8oz package of cream cheese.
2. 2 packs of Instant Pistachio Pudding
3. 1 cup any kind of nuts (I used walnuts) and 1 cup powdered sugar
4. 1 cup flour
Not Pictured:
1 stick of butter
3 cups cold milk
STEP TWO: Mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and 1/2 of the cool whip together.
STEP THREE: Mix the milk and instant pudding together and set in fridge.
STEP FOUR: After the crust has cooled, you will layer the white stuff and the green stuff. You spread the creamcheese/coolwhip/powder sugar mixture on over the crust. Then add the layer of the pistachio pudding. Top off with the rest of the cool whip. If you're a nutty person, you can sprinkle the top with nuts. Let it set in the fridge.
STEP FIVE: Now this is the most important step, so follow carefully. Get a plate and a fork. Scoop yourself up a piece and enjoy :)
Easter
Happy Easter!
Haha, they'll probably hate me for putting this picture up, but look at everyone's faces! Funny!
Hope everyone had a good Easter!

Blogging help!
So, I have a question that I CANNOT figure out. So, you see my links up there? The ones that say "Sam I Am" "Current Read" etc.?
Well, I can't figure out how to make the gray color away! And it needs to go away. I have it set on transparent right now, and I've tried white, but that doesn't work, it always does the gradient color. Also, I can't figure out how to center it.
So, if someone knows, and would be so kind as to share the knowledge I'd love you forever!
Thanks!

Fill in the Blank FRIDAY
1. Fridays are the best day of the week. It doesn't matter how busy the day is (which tomorrow it's going to be) I know the next day is Saturday. I've always loved Fridays. There is just something happy about Fridays.
2. my family, my friends, the office, watching people trip and fall (slightly mean, but come on, it's kinda funny) the gospel, the smell of rain, good music, laughing til my stomach hurt, and scary pig face make me terribly happy.
3. Something that inspires me is seeing someone do something they didn't think they could. I admire those people who just know that it's okay to fail, because that just means that you're that much closer to succeding. I wish I was more like that.
4. If I had the day off today I would stay in bed sleep in, definitely. Then I would probably stay in my pajamas all day and be lazy, because I've been running around like a crazy perosn lately.
5. If I had to put a label on my home decor style, I would say my style is unique. I wouldn't say I have a certain style. If I like it, I make it fit. I also LOVE thrift stores for decorating. I love making things too. One time my roommates were all gone and I was really bored so I took a Pace salsa jar that was empty and hot glued pennies too it to use as a flower vase. It turned out pretty dang cool despite the fact I totally defaced government property.
6. Concerning politics I would say I'm independent. I think political parties are the dumbest thing ever! Pres. Washington warned about 4 things in his farewell speach when he was leaving the presidency, and politcal parties were one of them (yes I remember that fact all the way from 11th grade honors history, thank you Mr. Perkins) I think people need to just decide what candidate has a better stand on the issue. It shouldn't be dictated by politcal parties.
7. I'd like to go to Italy so I could see everything! My heck! So much to see! I would be there for a long time and just see everything and really experience Italy. Not visit. Experience.
run away . . .
Yesterday my little sister, who is 6 came, into my room with some serious news. She looked very somber as she said, "Don't laugh, but on Saturday I'm running away." Of course, I couldn't help but laugh at this point, because it was so dang cute! But I tried really hard and held it in. My brother asked what episode of "The Brady Bunch" she had just watched because there is an episode where Cindy runs away. We asked where she was going to go and she told she was going to live with the neighbors. I told her we would really miss her and she gave me a big "good bye" hug. I asked her why she was going to live with the neighbors and she said, "They have fruit loops."
That's a pretty valid reason if you ask me.

It's finally here!
The weather is getting warmer. The trees are blooming. School is almost out.
I think we can officially say spring is here! (I hope I don't jinx it by saying this. I am in Utah, after all)

A Post on Procrastination
One of my talents is procrastinating. Seriously, I am sooo good at it. If they had an award for procrastination, I'm pretty sure I would win.
What I usually do is everything I don't have to do before the one thing I do have to do. For example, let's say I have to do homework. I'll come into my room and see that it is messy. And you can't study in a messy room so I have to clean it. That'll take up a good hour, because I tend to take my time on the menial task because this is what expert procrastinators do.
After that I'm probably thirsty or hungry from all my hard work and everyone knows you can't study on an empty stomach, so I'll head down to the kitchen for some nourishment. I'll eat something to regain my strength, and then I'll probably see someone (like my brother or my sister) in the kitchen because that seems to be the hang out place in our house, and I'll have to talk to them because it's rude to not say hi and see how they're doing. This conversation might take awhile because you can't cut a heart to heart short.
After our talk, I'll head back up to my room fully motivated to do my homework, but I'll have to check my phone to see if anyone tried to get a hold of me with something important to tell me. While checking my phone I'll notice the time and see that it is way to late to start studying. Everyone knows you can't study and fully function late at night, so I'll have to go to bed, because if I don't I'll be dragging the next day which would probably effect my homework-doing-abilities the next day.
And thus the homework is pushed off until the next day. . .
But you should all be happy because this pointless post was brought to you by none other than procrastination. I would make a safe bet thought that most people reading this are also procrastinating . . .
Don't worry though, I procrastinated even more and found some pictures!
