The Weekend

What up?!

Thus far, this weekend has been pretty awesome.  Friday my class was canceled so I only had work.  I got to take my roommates Bridals, and that was a blast (more of those to come).

Friday night, Amberly and I went to dinner and then saw "This Means War."  Has anyone seen that? HILARIOUS! I thought it was so good, and will most likely be purchasing it when it comes out.  We got to the movie late so we had to sit in the very front row.  Why do they even make rows that close?  I have no idea.  I could see the middle part of the screen if I cranked my neck up, and then if people were on the opposite side of the screen I'd have to turn my head.  The worst was when there was dialogue and they had filmed it so one character was on the left side of the screen and the other was on the right and the shot would switch back and forth.  I'd have to keep flipping my head back and forth, ha! And then when there were captions at the bottom! I was lost! I'm pretty sure we saw a totally different movie then everyone else.  But, it was still hilarious!

Saturday, I worked for a bit but got sent home early because I had a headache and wasn't getting any sales.  I wasn't complaining though.  About the being sent home.  The headache lasted all day so that sucked.  I went and saw "Chronicle" with my friend Trevor instead of working.  Has anyone seen "Chronicle"?  Thoughts? Feelings? Opinions?  (I like discussing movies).  I really liked it.  It was a really interesting idea of how power can go to someones head and how power can lead people to do things they may not otherwise do.  And I loved how it was filmed documentary style.

After that me and my brother hung out.  He wanted to do something but wasn't sure what so we ended up at the Sandy mall.  The parking is weird there.  They have the lanes where the stalls are diagonal so you have to turn down the lane a certain way.  Well, I went to turn into a lane and this stupid car was coming out the wrong way.  I had to do some quick maneuvering to avoid him and when I looked over at him he stuck his tongue out at me AND flipped me off.  Seriously?!  People these days.  We got some food, walked around for a bit, then went to my parents and ate double stuff Oreos.

Pretty stoked because there is no school tomorrow (thank you Mr. Presidents) and me and Amberly have a mini road trip planned.  Boo yah!  I'm sure you'll see tons of pictures of that later.

Until then, hope you're all having a great weekend :)
