Juniper

so tuesday night i went on a hike with a friend from work. he brought his roommate and his roommate's girlfriend and we headed up the mountain. we hiked the juniper trail, which is beautiful! beginning of the trail there is a meadow and there were wildflowers on both sides. it was really pretty. it was a really long hike tho. it was 4.5 miles one way, so it took us about 3 hours to get up there, and then 2 and a half to get back. we started at 6pm so we didn't get back til midnight and on the way back my $1 flashlight from wally world died. then the girls flashlight died too, so we had one light for four of us in the pitch black. but it was way fun! the trail is awesome tho, you hike up to a tree that is 3200 years old and it's a really cool looking tree. the branches are all twisted but it look awesome!
