Let's Talk Face

Ok peeps, I need some skin care advice.

I've never had good skin.  It's not waaaaay terrible, but I've had my fair share of erupting volcanoes on my face.  I thought by the time I was 24, I would have stopped getting pimples, but alas, this is not the case.

Currently I am looking for a really good face wash/cream/mask/whatever other magical cream there may be out there that can clear out my pores.  So, any suggestions?

And because I like having pictures on my blog posts, here is a picture of my hair.  Because I'm not letting you guys see my face :)  It was a "hair on top of the head" kinda day.

  1. I've heard that ProActive works pretty well and is affordable, but it's one of those things you have to use religiously.

I use Mirad face wash and I also invested in a sonic care face brush thing. It's one of those scrubbing face brush thing that scrubs all the dead skin off your face.

  2. Can't spell today. It's called Murad, not Mirad. You can get a starter kit at Sephora.

  4. Ugh, when you find the magic solution, please share with me. I am almost 31 {gasp} and I STILL deal with breakouts!
    So annoying. :(

  5. Girrrrl I am SO with you! I just use cetaphil face wash and moisturizer because I've been on meds for my face. I'm off all of them except for 1 cream now (yay) but I still break out. I think I just have crappy skin that won't ever be perfect!
But the biggest piece of advice I can give is MOISTURIZE! You'd think that would make you break out more buttttt if your face dries out too much you break out worse. I use Cetaphil's moisturizing cream at night because it is so heavy, and a light lotion in the morning so that I can put make up over it.
