So last night I went to Brad Paisley in concert. SO GOOD! It was so much fun. Darius Rucker was there, and he was good too. He sang some Hootie songs so I was happy about that.

My car is broken :( It's always had an over heating problem, but usually only if I've had the AC on or been driving awhile and then stop at a light. Now if I drive it at all it'll over heat. I've change the thermostat, checked the coolant, everything I can possibly think of and it's still not working. I'm hoping that it just takes a little bit to get the coolant through and if it's not that, hopefully it won't cost that much to fix.

grrrrrr . . .

So I just got home from work and nobody is awake to vent to so my blog is gonna get the brunt, haha. What a lame day. I was just super onery, I really don't know why, but it seemed that all the customers I got today were onery too and it really isn't a good combination. Or I would spend 1/2 hour explaining a bill, going over the same thing, over and over again. And then there was this really annoying boy I was sitting next to. Seriously, I wanted to ring his neck, and it takes a lot for me to want to ring someones neck. First off, he never took calls! And I was taking call after call with no break, and he was a loud talker so I couldn't hear anything but his loud annoying voice. He was talking to his friend about what a ladies man he was, how this one girl told him he gave her the chills. I seriously wanted to say to him, "Dude, it's because you freak her out" but I'm too nice to say anything like that outloud. So I had to hear him talk for pretty much my whole eight hour shift about how he gives girls chills and how he wants to get married. And then later he decided to come up with this dumb game that if you think of a word you have to use that word in a dirty sentence. So someone would say a normal, non provacative word and he'd turn it dirty, and then laugh hysterically because apparently he thinks he's funny. And then he would get up from his seat and come right behind me and kept hitting me in the back of the head with the phone cord.

Wow, I just reread this. I am onery, ha ha. And need sleep, I'm thinking. Or maybe food. Who knows. Mental note to self: sit far away from annoying boy.

Mockingjay

The third book of the Hunger Game series came out last week, and I can't put it down. I have spent pretty much all of my free time, breaks at work, riding the bus, etc. with my nose in a book trying to get it finished. So good! I don't have class today, just work, so I have dedicated most of this morning to finishing.

ummmm....

So. I haven't blogged in a long time. Like 8 months. So here's a little update. I am currently a UVU attendee now. I am applying for the teaching program in October and I couldn't be more excited! Really, I've been trying for the last three - four years of my life to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. I've switched my major multiple times. I've contemplated a mission. I even met with the bishop in pretty much every ward I was attending but with everything I've done I've never felt 100% good about any of them. But as I've been sitting in my classes I'm taking this semester I feel so good about what I'm doing! I know this is where I need to be. And it feels good to finally know that. I guess sometimes you have to try out a lot of things to find the thing that you really want to do.

With the holiday season coming up I decided to sit down and think of a some of the things I'm thankful for. I don't do this enough. So here are a few things I'm thankful for, in no particular order. This isn't all but these are things that make life what it is:

so i haven't blogged in awhile. i just really don't have time anymore.

but that's good.

busy is good.

life is good.

just working and going to school. registration is coming up and i'm once again debating what i want to do with my life. i'm thinking that maybe i'll teach elementary instead of graphic design in high school. so i'm meeting with a counselor to try and decide. either way, it'd be fun. so hopefully i'll be graduating from school within the next year or two. yay!

work is good. i got onto floor support which is the people who answers questions for everyone else. it's so nice not having to be on the phones all the time. but, i do have to take sup calls. ah!! i do admit there was one night i came home balling. like uncontrollable sobs balling, ha ha. because, i'll let you in on a little secret, i have no idea what i'm doing! ok well i do most of the time. but it's a lot to learn.

my birthday was last week. it was a good birthday. friday i went out to dinner with my roommates, saturday i hung out with christian all day, and then sunday i got to see my family. great day. i still really can't believe i'm 22. i still feel like i'm 12 except now i have bills. growing up is funny. the older i get the more i realize i don't know. and i would always imagine when i was young how i would be when i was this age. i thought i was gonna be all sophisticated and mature. psh!! maybe one day. but i guess, overall, i wouldn't trade it. this is a good age.

Dwight: That's a ridiculous question.
Jim: False. Black bear.
Dwight: That's debatable. There are basically two schools of thought...
Jim: Fact: Bears eat beets. Bears. Beets. Battlestar Galactica.
Dwight: Bears do not...what is going on? WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! [pause] Well, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so I thank you.
[Jim pulls out a bobblehead from the briefcase and puts it on his desk]
Dwight: Identity theft is not a joke, Jim! Millions of families suffer every year!
Jim: Michael!
Dwight: Oh, that's funny. Michael!


Ryan: Did this happen on company property?
Michael Scott: It was on company property, with company property. So, double jeopardy, we're fine. Ryan: I don't think-- I don't think you understand how jeopardy
works.
Michael Scott: Oh, I'm sorry. What is, 'we're fine'?


Michael: Guess what? I have flaws. What are they? Oh I donno, I sing in the shower? Sometimes I spend too much time volunteering. Occasionally I'll hit somebody with my car. So sue me-- no, don't sue me. That is opposite the point I'm trying to make.


Jim Halpert: One day Michael came in, complaining about a speed bump, on the highway... I wonder who he ran over then.


Dwight: No, don't call me a hero. Do you know who the real heroes are? The guys who wake up every morning and go into their normal jobs, and get a distress call from the commissioner, and take off their glasses and change into capes, and fly around fighting crime. Those are the real heroes.


Jim: Dwight, what are you doing?
Dwight: What?
Jim: You're not allowed to take off your pants in the middle of the office.
Dwight: I'm not ...
Jim: Dwight, you know what? Just back off. Okay, that's making me uncomfortable. This is sexual harassment, by the way.(Dwight looks at the tape recorder)
Jim: Oh, my God. He's got a knife!
Dwight: (Speaking into the recorder) I do not have a knife!
Jim: No, let the record show that Dwight K. Shrute is now completely nude and is holding a plastic knife to Stanley's neck.
Dwight: (Shouts into the recorder) Let the record show that Jim Halpert is a liar!
Jim: (Grabs the recorder and speaks into it) Dwight Schrute is now wearing a baby's bonnet.
Dwight: (Snatches the recorder back) I am not!
Phyllis: Oh, Jim Carrey just walked in, Dwight. Get his autograph for Michael, quickly.
Dwight: Jim Carrey did not just walk in, okay?
Karen: Dwight, what is that on your stomach? Is that a Muppet Babies tattoo?(Dwight glances down)
Jim: Oh my God, Karen, you're right. That is Animal from the Muppet Babies.
Dwight: You can't see my stomach—
Andy: I am now chopping off Phyllis's head with a chainsaw!(Dead silence)
Andy: (Imitates a chainsaw) Vring-ing-ing-inging. (Clears throat)
